ABOUT ME

I'm a Freelance Graphic Designer at Arlo Hotels, a string of boutique hotels in NYC, Miami, and Chicago, where I elevate brand aesthetics, create captivating marketing materials, and manage their website. I was previously the Art Director and Production Manager at the Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation (IGPC), during which I designed stamps for foreign governments and collectors.
Although I got my undergraduate degree from New York University in Urban Design & Architecture Studies with a double minor in Studio Art and Mathematics, my love for design
and all things software has led me to pursue a career in Graphic Design after graduating. I have experience working in both print and digital spaces and am looking to transition to an industry that is more user-focused. I believe that good design is about more than just the aesthetics; it's about creating an experience that resonates with users and helps them accomplish their goals. I'm attentive, eager to learn, and love what I do!

I'm a third-culture kid born in Suzhou, China, but moved to New York City when I was only
two years old! After spending 6.5 years there, my family moved to Singapore and I lived there until coming back to the Big Apple for University. To this day, I still consider Singapore my home.

Outside of design, you can find me picking up piano again, being engrossed in a mystery novel, or getting a breath of fresh air, longing to move out of the city.
Feel free to look around!
